Custom Molded Diabetic Insert – Plastazote Shell
SureFit’s custom molded plastazote orthotic device is comprised of a
medium density plastazote top cover and firm plastazote shell that is
indicated for patients weighing less than 225 pounds. In contrast to many
prefabs on the market, SureFit’s custom molded plastazote orthotic
device is fabricated with sufficient arch fill to provide true total contact.
This results in maximum pressure and shear reduction in all patients
regardless of arch height. The orthotic device is ground to the
correct thickness to provide a proper fit with any shoe in our catalogue.
The orthotic can be ordered with a wide range of accommodations to
provide additional pressure relief when required.

Custom Molded Diabetic Insert – EVA Shell
SureFit’s custom molded EVA orthotic device is comprised of a medium
density plastazote top cover and firm EVA shell that is indicated for patients
weighing more than 225 pounds or those requiring increased support.
Similar to our plastazote device, SureFit’s custom molded EVA orthotic
device is fabricated with sufficient arch fill to provide true total contact.
This results in maximum pressure and shear reduction in all patients regardless
of arch height. The EVA orthotic resists compression, but is somewhat thicker
and should be ordered with a more accommodating shoe such as the SoftSpot
or Ambulator. This orthotic can also be ordered with a wide range of
accommodations to provide additional pressure relief when required.

SureRelief Accommodative Orthotic
Designed for our Orthotic Footwear Program this orthotic is not appropriate
for the Medicare Therapeutic Footwear Program. The SureRelief is comprised
of a soft EVA top cover, which is durable and washable. A middle layer of
poron provides additional cushioning that won’t bottom out. A high durometer
cork shell provides firm support that is well tolerated by almost all patients.
The orthotic features a deep heel cup, medial flange and an extended lateral
clip. A wide range of custom modifications can be ordered on a per patient
basis to treat a variety of clinical conditions. The orthotic device can be
ground to the correct thickness to provide a proper fit with any shoe in our
catalogue. The dress shoe styles in the non-covered section of the catalogue
are specifically selected for the SureRelief, however, any shoe in the catalog
can be ordered with this insert.

Prefabricated Heat Molded Inserts
The Prefabricated Insert with the Custom Fit
SureFit heat moldable prefabricated diabetic inserts are designed to
integrate into our patented fitting system. SureFit Heat Moldable Inserts
are designed in 42 different sizes and three toe shapes to achieve an
excellent fit in a wide range of shoe lasts. This range of fitting options is
unprecedented in the footwear industry. Just heat mold the insert to the
patient’s foot. No additional trimming is required to achieve a great fit.
Provide your patients with the superior protection of a SureFit shoe with
a last selected specifically for their foot type and condition. We will then
integrate the appropriate insert to assure an excellent fit. Now you can
offer your prefabricated insert patients the shoes and support that have
made SureFit the leading company in the industry.
SureFit prefabricated inserts feature a high durometer heat moldable
EVA base layer designed to achieve and maintain total contact for the
life of the device. The soft EVA top cover provides excellent additional
cushioning. All models have been coded by the SADMERC for code K0628.
